Whee, we are joining the Cold Storage Kids Run this year! P qualifies for both the Singapura Finance Blue Sky Chase and the Huggies Stroller Chase based on her birth year of 2011. Both are 800m, but we are torn between her sitting in the stroller or walking/running the 800m herself. Stroller was quickly eliminated because she really hates the stroller when she was younger, so we chose the Sky Chase. However, she seems to be quite happy climbing into her stroller lately, which makes me regret not signing up for the stroller chase. The scenario on that day will most likely be P walking 20m, and then ask me to 抱抱 for the rest of the 780m, omg!
Race participants will be able to collect their race packs today and tomorrow at the F1 pit building. We went to Marina Square for lunch and some shopping, only to reach the F1 building at around 1.30pm. Luckily, the wait to collect the race bibs and her race t-shirt was quite short. P and hubby managed to catch a glimpse of Bob the Builder and Angelina the Ballerina while I was waiting in line. However, they disappeared behind a screen after a short while and P was sorely disappointed, so much that she held my hand and brought me towards the screen, as if to tell me they are inside and she wants to enter. Another time baby...
I chose the smallest size XXS for P and it turns out to be still too big. To think I was worried because there will definitely be babies younger than her taking part (Stroller chase), I was imagining a 6m romper size, lol. The goodie bag contain a Dora lunchbox (with some sweets), a pack of Oreos, a small box of yoghurt drink, some snacks and a lot of flyers, haha.
The race will take place on 19 May 2013. To those who are joining, see you there!
