Last swim session at Baby Spa

Brought P for her last swim session at PS Baby Spa today. There was another baby in the big pool when we arrived, and the poor baby got terrified by P. Not that P did anything to him, but he started crying when P entered the pool. That baby's mama took him out and P had the pool to herself.

I can't recall when we took P for her first swim, should be around 3 months old. Here's a pic for comparison. She seems to have lost her fat cheeks.

Dunno whether it was too much stimulation in the morning, but she became super cranky in the afternoon. No amount of coaxing can settle her. Papa Jon resorted to piggy backing her, and that only settled her for about 2 min. What a nightmare!

Ordered Dominos pizza and was watching the Olympics while waiting for the pizza and a friend to come. Saw Gary Foo on TV, think he did very well during the heats, though 1st heats was better than the 2nd. In terms of track and field, I think it's very hard for Asians to keep up with the Western and African counterparts. Great job there!

Shortly after, my friend Jasmin arrived with her 2 months old daughter Gracelyn. I got to know through her FB postings that she was having troubles transitioning Gracelyn to the bottle. 11 types of bottles and all sorts of teats but this girl remains adamant. I happened to have a MAM bottle that P did not get to use, and Gracelyn has not tried, so I offered it to Jasmin. Heard from Jasmin that she still firmly reject the bottle although she hasn't had a feed in 11 hours. Before leaving, Jasmin told me I'll know through FB whether the bottle is successful. Haha, cross fingers.

Jasmin also asked me about Baby Spa. Gracelyn apparently hates her bath, so Jasmin wanted to see if Baby Spa can help to get her more accustomed to water. This baby really has a mind of her own, haha.
