It's August!!

Entering into August - P's birthday month

This is going to be an exciting month, with 2 public holidays, P's birthday and the activities I'm planning for her. First thing I did was to sign her up for the eXplorerkid Baby & Junior Race 2012, in the spirit of the current Olympics.  Not too sure how Downtown East is going to manage the event logistically, but I'm looking forward to it!

P has started to take a couple of steps already, but she will only do so if she thinks the distance between her and your outstretched hands is not too far off. If she's confident enough, she will take running steps and literally fell into your arms. If she's not confident, she will drop to her knees and crawl over. I doubt she will walk confidently on her own by her birthday, but it's definite that her toddler days are not too far off.

Another cute feature we found in her is her constant babbling, to the extent that hubby concluded "all girls talk a lot". We would be watching tv in the living room, and she roams around the living room babbling at everything in sight.
*Takes a book and point to the pictures* - Badeh, tur tur tuh, deh deh, maaaaa
*Snatches the remote control* - Badeh, tur tur tuh, deh deh, maaaaa
*Walks to the window* - Badeh, tur tur tuh, deh deh, maaaaa
*Rummages through my bag* - Badeh, tur tur tuh, deh deh, maaaaa
*Walks to the TV console* - Badeh, tur tur tuh, deh deh, maaaaa
and so on....
Cuteness level and noise level = 10/10
